Okay, so I know this is going to make me sound like a COMPLETE idiot, but...What are Llama badges for?!  

I've had three people give me Llamas (Thank you thank you thank you!), but I have no idea why you get them, how, or what they are even for, if anything.  I've tried looking EVERYWHERE for information on Llama badges, but not even the help and/or FAQ of the Deviantart site has anything posted, and the page itself is less than helpful.  

So anyone?  Have pity on a poor, clueless blond and inform me of what the dealio is?  Much thanks!
